The Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair Starts Today !!

Whew, we have managed to get our stand setup and ready to go for the Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair which starts today, October 16 and runs until Sunday October. It is amazing how much preparation goes into preparing for one of these shows which is why we are only doing the local ones in Brisbane for now. 

Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair 2013

When: Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th October

Time: 9am - 5pm daily

Where: Stand H14, Brisbane Exhibition Centre Halls 3 & 4, Cnr Glenelg & Merivale Streets, Southbank.

Please note that our East Brisbane showroom will be closed during this event and will reopen on Tuesday 22nd October.

Directly across from us at H15 we have a demonstration space where you can watch StephC from Cake Patterns give short hourly talks about sewing with knit fabrics. Steph will also be available between demonstration times to answer any question you may have about dressmaking, knit sewing or Cake Patterns. You will also be able to purchase Cake Patterns and Riley Blake Cotton Jersey Knits from us during the Fair.

Stitches and Craft Show Brisbane 2013

The Brisbane Stitches & Craft Show 2013 is less than a week away & it's going to be HUGE! We have been prepping lots of new kits, cutting & folding new fabrics and packaging up bag hardware for weeks and we cannot wait for the Show to start.

We have to admit it, we've been holding out on you. There are brand new Alexander Henry Pinup Boys that we are launching exclusively at the Stitches & Craft Show. Check out these bad boys, vampires and werewolves reminiscent of a certain book series! They are so hilariously campy cute we just had to get them in for you.

The Ready for Action Firemen and our ever popular Wrangler Cowboys from Alexander Henry will also be back on the stand.

We have loads of kits / projects ready to go including the best Steampunk White Rabbit ever to grace a cushion. We were inspired to create a bit of an Alice in Wonderland theme with our purse samples and we've made up the cutest Poppet Purse kit - Paint the Roses Red. The Queen of Hearts would love it.

We are also super excited because we will be right next door to Funky Friends Factory. We have made up fabric kits for a heap of Pauline's awesome toy designs, here is a small sneak peek of our newest kits.

The Brisbane Stitches & Craft Show runs from March 21-24 and is open daily from 10am - 4.30pm. More information on the show can be found on their website. 

Unfortunately we can't be in two places at once so we will be closing our showroom while we set up and attend the show. We will be closed from Sunday 17th March and will reopen on Tuesday 26th March. We are still taking online orders and will do our best to keep out delivery times as fast as possible.
