New in Store - 2nd April 2017
Thus week I have added in a few new Echino designs from Kokka, these are printed on a lovely thick cotton/linen substrate. From Robert Kaufman I have some new vintage inspired designs including 1920's fashion, sewing notions and posters. In bag hardware I now have 25mm o-rings and gunmetal 18mm magnetic snaps.

New in Store - 5th February 2017
This week the very much anticipated Outback Wife 150cm wide barkcloth from Cathi Bessell-Browne (Gertrude Made) arrived. This 100% cotton fabric has been printed in Japan on a base cloth that has been back engineered to replicate vintage barkcloth as closely as possible. The stunning hand-painted floral designs have been a labour of love and have taken more than a year to complete.
Inspired by the beautiful floral barkcloth fabrics of the 1940s and 1950s, each detail of this collection has been meticulously and sincerely considered to create a range with an authentic vintage voice.

New in Store - 23rd August 2015
This we have some new fabrics from Benartex, Marvel super heroes from Springs Creative and some new solids from Northcott. I also found a couple of Jersey Knit fabrics from Art Gallery Fabrics that I've had for a while but forgot to put up on the website, Whoops :)

New in Store - 9th August 2015
The other week I went through the Alexander Henry distributor's warehouse to see what was available. There were so many fabric that I wanted to get but I had to narrow it down to a handful. I chose the following ones as most of them are out of print and no longer going to be available. In other news Sewline, who manufacture the ever popular Glue Pen are now making sewing scissors. These scissors are very high quality, manufactured in Japan and are suitable for both left and right handed sewists.

New Classes
We have added in two new classes for September, the fan bag which is suitable for beginner sewists and the Reversible Wrap Skirt which is a great class for sewist who want to give dressmaking a go. We also have another Frame Purse Workshop, after this one we will probably only have time to run this workshop one more time before the end of the year.

What's New At Voodoo Rabbit Fabric - September 21
When it rains it pours... so many new fabrics arrived this week and most of them are from Alexander Henry. We also received a new handmaids range from Janet Wecker Frisch for Quilting Treasures, new knits from Art Gallery and some new ladies dress and skirt patterns from Serendipity Studios. Phwew I've been a busy bunny getting this lot up onto the website :)

What's New at Voodoo Rabbit Fabric - 3 August 2014
It has been a bit quiet on the new stock front for the past few weeks but all of our orders are starting to arrive. This week we received some of the new Jersey Knits from Art Gallery fabrics, these designer prints are 95% cotton/5% spandex so they have great recovery and the designs are absolutely stunning.
You all know how much we love our Mexican Day of the Dead fabric here at Voodoo Rabbit, we have aded two new designs from Benartex textiles featuring some very merry looking skeletons :)
For the geeks out there we have a bright and fun retro pac man inspired print from Timeless Treasures.
We have been asked on more than one occasion for Aboriginal Art fabrics so we have a couple of designs in and if they prove popular we will look at getting in a few more.

Fabric Friday - Mod Bag Dilemma
The October Craft and Quilt Fair is fast approaching and I need to start making bag samples toot sweet. I asked Cloud for a fabric combination for the Mod bag and she gave me three. So I ask you dear bunny readers, which fabrics should I use?
I think that all options would look best with Silver hardware. I am leaning towards option 2 but I'd love to know what you think. Don't take too long, I have to cut this out on Saturday :)

Here is a pic of the Mod Bag, it is a You Sew Girl Pattern and has a bit of a retro feel so Cloud has chosen some appropriately retro inspired prints from our range.
Option 1:

Lining - Premium Solid Raisin by Northcott
Option 2:
Outer Bag - Notting Hill Primrose Poppy by Free Spirit
Option 3:
Lining - Premium Solid Ivory by Northcott
