We had 20 entries in total, we assigned each entrant a number based on the order of comment (excluding any multiple comments) and used random.org to generate the winning number...
...and the winner was number 15, Carley from Vanilla Pixie. Congratulations, we will be in contact with you:)
Thank you to everyone who left feedback it has been very helpful, the clear favourite was the grey range followed by the pink. Blue and green were neck and neck for third.
We will get the grey range printed up ASAP, probably once we have the new shop up and running. Lots of work to do in the next few days to be ready for next Thursdays opening, I need to go to bed and get some beauty sleep.

Awesome wedding set up
I just had to show off this beautiful table dressing that my friend Leesa set up for a wedding reception.
Leesa used to have a blog called Little Munki where she would show off her crafty endeavours, but she let it lapse so she could concentrate on her photography business and taking care of her 4 kids!
Leesa has kindly agreed to help us with the styling of our myRmarket store, stay tuned for photos next week:)

Look at the set up and photography, she should be working for a wedding or home maker magazine, don't you agree.
Close up of the center piece.
She also did a dessert buffet, complete with goodie bags for the guests to pack with their favourite treats. She even cooked the macaroons and the cake pops. Doesn't it all look scrumptious.

BIG NEWS! Voodoo Rabbit is growing ^_^
Those of you that follow us on Facebook or Twitter may have seem some mysterious posts recently about painted chalkboard walls, ceilings, etc. Now we can reveal what all that activity is for!
Voodoo Rabbit has found a permanent home in the new Cooparoo myRmarkets that is opening in the old Myer Megamart building. We have been searching for a place to call home for a while now. We tried a number of different markets in Brisbane but as our range has expanded it has become increasingly difficult to bump in / bump out at stalls. Also, the threat of rain damage to our stock is causing havoc now the storm season has hit.
The myRmarket will be a perfect location for us - it is undercover, secure and we don't have to set up and pull down the stall each weekend because we have a permanent spot. The extra shop space will also give us the opportunity to expand our range of fabric and haberdashery as we have outgrown Ky's little sewing room at home.
The building is fully airconditioned and will feature a fresh food market on the bottom floor as well as onsite parking, cafes and a food court. You can get your vegies and then come upstairs for a craft fix!
Where: Stall 103 / Upper Level, 296-300 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo
When: Every Thursday to Sunday 9am - 6pm
The opening date is November 4th - we would love to see you there!

Etsy Favourite - Astaire the Hypno-Bunny
Our Etsy favourites list is quite large, there is a lot of very talented handcrafters out there. We thought that we should show off some of these awesome items.
One of our favourite Etsy stores is Static White's Stichery where you you will find OOAK (one of a kind) ornaments, art dolls, unique clothing, accessories, home decor, & more... All created with an artistic eye, stitches like sutures & a wee touch of madness.
This little feller recently caught our eye, let us introduce Astaire, the Hypno-Bunny w- Felt Carrot Knife Plush by Static White's Stichery.

My Creative Space + giveaway
So it turns out that when it comes to being creative I can procrastinate with the best of them. Which is what I have been doing with the following range of fabric.
I actually received the final swatches for these fabric in early September and have been avoiding them ever since. The main issue is that there are 13 different prints so I have no idea which ones to get printed first or if the whole range is a bust and should be abandoned.
Time for some external input, do you like these prints, if so leave a comment telling me which colourways/designs would you like to see printed first. As an extra incentive, everyone who leaves a comment goes in the draw to win all 13 sample swatches (approx size: 8 x 8 inches). I will randomly pick a comment by random number generator next Friday 29th October.
Blue Range: Bunny Goth Bone Stripe | Bunny Goth Scatter | Bunny Goth Pinstripe
Green Range: Bunny Goth Bone Stripe | Bunny Goth Scatter | Bunny Goth Pinstripe
Pink Range: Bunny Goth Bone Stripe | Bunny Goth Scatter | Bunny Goth Pinstripe
Grey Range: Bunny Goth Bone Stripe | Bunny Goth Scatter | Bunny Goth Pinstripe
These images are actually from Spoonflower but I will endeavour to photograph the actual swatches in the next day or so and post them for you all to see.

Spiders, Spiders Everywhere! curated by SandraLeigh who apparently loves spiders and also making jewelry. She is currenlty having a 10% off sale in her Etsy store.
I'm quite partial to this pair:
...but she does a heap of other non skull themed pieces as well.

The great shoe experiment was a success. I have received two pairs of shoes that look as expected and also fit, YAY.
Little shoes for me and big ones for Polymonkey. To get the correct size I found that measuring your foot and using this measurement to pick a size based on the inner sole length seemed to work pretty well.
Head over to Kirsty's to check out what other people have been creating this week.

Gingham Invaded Shoes for Polymonkey
Green Spidery Web shoes for me, slightly not happy with the placement of the spiders on the heel (placed too high up) but I can live with them.

Voodoo Apprentices
How cool is this, Faerie Majikk has painted a picture of us.
Well kind of, she is doing a series at the moment where she contacts Etsy DUST (Down.Under.Street.Team) members and asks for a description, she then uses this description as the basis for a painting.
I think this one is pretty cool, am seriously thinking about purchasing it.
