Craft and Sewing Show Giveaway

We will be at the 2012 Brisbane Craft and Sewing Show at the end of this week with Pauline from Funky Friends Factory. The show runs from the 22nd - 25th March so there is just enough time to squeeze in a fabulous give-away!!!!

We will be giving away a toy-making kit which features a brand new toy design from Funky Friends Factory and fabrics from the ‘Cephalopod Collection’ designed by Voodoo Rabbit :)

Craft and Sewing Show: Brisbane 2012

Voodoo Rabbit will be at the Craft & Sewing Show March 22 - 25, 2012 at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre, South Bank. We will be teaming up with the lovely Pauline from Funky Friends Factory for the Show.

The show is going to be huge so make sure you see us at Stand D18 for the best selection of alternative, goth, rockabilly and kawaii fabrics in Brisbane.

• Alexander Henry: All the favourites! Skulls & Roses, Las Senoritas, Skullduggery, Contigo, The Ghastlies and Pin Ups!
• Kokka: Latest Ruby Star range from Melody Miller, Echino, Bi-Planes & Cars
• Cosmo Textiles: Alice in Wonderland and the most kawaii fabrics ever -  Floral Piggies & Forest Panda
• You Sew Girl: A-Line Skirt, Hat, Bag Patterns, Purse Kits and hardware
• Funky Friends Factory: Pauline will have her range of toy patterns. Ozzie the Octopus & The Laid Back Owl patterns will be available at the Show for the first time.
• Voodoo Rabbit: Bunny Goth Bunting Kits, Lolita Apron Patterns and two brand new baby cube kits - Beep Beep and Toy Box.

We have a mountain of cutting and preparation to do, so we are closing the showroom from Friday 16 March and re-opening on Tuesday 27 March. We will still be taking online orders up to and during the Show (www.voodoorabbit.com.au) but orders placed after March 20 won't be posted until March 27 at the earliest.

Stitch 'n' Bitch - 25th Jan 2012

Sorry for the late notice bunnehs, it has just been one of "those" weeks.

Anywhoo the first Voodoo Rabbit Stitch 'n' Bitch will be held this evening at the bunneh clubhouse :0) If you can't make it tonight never fear we will be holding these on a regular basis. If you think that you will be attending tonight please let us know so we can make sure that we have enough chairs.

Bring along a project (knitting, crochet, embroidery or anything you want) and join us for a chat and a snack. We will have tea, coffee (instant sorry), hot chocolate and cookies. If you need something a bit more filling there is a Crust Pizza and a Thai restaurant nearby. There is one sewing machine available to hire for $5 but this will be on a first in basis.

none (though a gold coin donation for tea and coffee is appreciated)

On Site - There are two car spaces located in the carpark behind the building.
Stanley Street - There is on street parking on Stanley Street in front of the building after 9am. Please check parking signage for parking terms.
Side Streets - There is on street parking on Potts, Hampton and Lisburne Streets.

Inbound to City - 184, 185, 210 ,212, 235, 230 stop across the road in front of Dan Murphy's
Outbound from City - 184, 185, 210 ,212, 235, 230 stop on the corner of Wellington Road and Stanley Street (1st stop after the Wooloongabba bus station).

We have tentatively scheduled our first Stitch n Bitch for Wednesday 25th January - more information to come on this later :D

We will also be closed Tuesday 10th January so Ky can move into her new house.
