New in Store - 20th December 2015

I must confess, I have had the fabrics below in stock for a month or two but they have just never made it onto the website before this week. My batik scrap packs are always really popular so I am trialling some bolts to see how they go.
Adventures in Wonderland is a collection I had way back in the very early days of Voodoo Rabbit and it was very popular. I was so excited when it was re-released this year that I have purchased the entire range :)

My Creative Space

I made a cushion cover for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. It uses a crazy patchwork quilt as you go technique on the front which is a great way to use up larger sized fabric scraps.

Front made from fabric scraps of Ephemeral Antiquity, Send in the Crowns and Quatrefoils by Michael Miller.
As well as Leathergrain by Windham Fabrics

Back made from Leathergrain by Windham Fabrics

My Creative Space

This week we have managed to make one more Funky Friends Factory toy, introducing Plattie the Platypus.

Funky Friends Factory Plattie Sample 01

He is made up using Daisy Doogle Lime by Michael Miller for the body and Adventures in Wonderland Faux Leathergrain by Winham fabrics for his bill and feet. This is a very simple pattern that goes together fairly quickly and easily.

Funky Friends Factory Plattie Sample 02

His bill got a little squished in my bag on the way to the shop, poor little Plattie.

We are halfway through the Larry the Lion plushie mentioned in last Fridays post, hopefully he will be finished in the next day or so.

Join in the last creative space of the year with Kirsty over at Kootoyoo.

Fabric Friday: New fabric part 1

We are finally starting to make our way through the mountain of new fabric that has arrived in the last few weeks. It has all been photographed and all of the images have been processed in photoshop (except for the 5 new bolts that arrived today).

Here are the fabrics that have been listed in the last week.

Domestic Diva Panel and Utensil Damask by Riley Blake

... and that isn't even half of what we have received.

We need space in our shop for all of the new fabric so don't forget to check out the sale section, we added in some Alexander Henry and Michael Miller today.

Sneak Peek - New Fabrics

We can't wait to show you all the new fabrics that arrived yesterday! Here's a sneak peek at the first range.

Delicious! The Adventures in Wonderland range from Windham features a large quilt panel (top) with co-ordinated stripes, textured look plains and smaller illustrated fabrics. The images are based on the original drawings of John Tenniel & are beautiful.

I cannot wait to get my hands on some! We will be busy photographing so we can get these listed in our shop for you as soon as we can :)
