Do you ever feel that time is flying by too fast and you wish you could either slow it down or get more? I asked Cloud what she was wishing for today and she said, "More time!". I'm not quite sure is this is going to help her but I really like these time-related items found on Etsy :)

Wishlist Wednesday

I wish Ky & I could work full time on our shop. To do that, we'll need to find a million dollars under the couch. Join me on the hunt :D

Goth Corset & Gored Skirt with Gorets

Cloud & I are heading back to Japan in February next year - we're aiming to bring back a heap of stock and find some suppliers over there. Expect to see lots of recycled vintage kimono fabric. A piece from the last batch I bought was used for the front panels on this corset, the rest of the fabric I found at Spotlight.





The corset top was made from Vogue Pattern 7733. If I ever make it again I think I will have to adjust it a bit as it is quite tight around the armholes and across the back. Also I think a zipper for ease of getting in and out of it may be a good idea.

I seem to have misplaced the skirt pattern and have no idea what it was. I do know that it originally had a waistband that I removed because I hate waistbands, I'm quite short and they don't really suit me. I made up a facing for it instead.

We have stock up on Etsy!

The first lot of buttons and fabric has arrived! We have uploaded a heap of stock to our Etsy store including some Alexander Henry, Wilmington Prints and Michael Miller fabric.

Also on Etsy is some vintage fabric that Ky and I hunted and gathered from around Brisbane. I love this one:



I think it's from around 1950's and I really like the green flowers / fruit. Some of them look like pomegranites. The brand "Creesrist" is printed on the selvedge and the only reference to it we can find on the web is an old advertisement from The Canberra Times, 20 May, 1949.
